Facebook group grows: Stop killing people with disabilities has reached their target

Feb. 12, 2010

The pro-life facebook group, Stop Killing people with disabilities is growing fast and has reached 1000 members by St Valentine’s Day. The group, founded by Lifeability activist, Tony Barry seeks to “promote a positive attitude in society towards people who were born with a disability and to counter act against the negative anti-disabled propaganda espoused by the pro-abortion lobby to further their own agenda.”

The group is attracting attention from people with disabilities and supporters, one of whom wrote:

“I just found this group ! wonderful !! I was born with a disability that’s not noticeable although my life expectancy at the time was probably 20. I proved them wrong. But I have always wondered why people have such an issue with someone who has a disability. So why do we have to prove that we have a right to live?”

There's a man employed at a University and he has spina bifida or something similiar. Thanks to 'democracy' he has been able to avail of the extra services provided to him so as to assist with fulfilling his role as a fully functioning member of society. It is seriously shocking, if not indeed 'blasphemous' to realise that the very governement who fund such vital amenites are on the other hand contributing towards a silent genocide of folk like him, through doctors who encourage mothers to abort babies as such who are like him. Nothing discriminatory about that then ? ? ?
