Youth Defence has launched a new drive which aims to increase the number of pro-life volunteers nationwide. The new 'Life is Worth It' project gives everyone the opportunity to volunteer to protect mothers and babies from abortion.
The project uses three posters for public display – one featuring an unborn baby boy, and two featuring YD members.
One poster reads: Cormac, 23. Business Student. Loves Spicy Food. Mad about Hip Hop. Volunteers with Youth Defence to protect mothers and babies from abortion. You can too.
It continues: Youth Defence. Because Life is Worth It. The poster and the accompanying leaflet and cards give contact information for volunteers and encourage them to get involved. See the posters here: www.youthdefence.ie/campaigns/life-is-worth-it/
“It’s an important project, because pro-life volunteers make a huge difference to attitudes towards the unborn child,” said Rebecca Roughneen of YD. “We’re always looking for new members because its up to young people to ensure our pro-life traditions and ethos can continue to keep Ireland abortion-free.”

Love the work YD does! I feel really lucky to be able to help out in my summers off!
