The exciting and hugely successful Rally for Life on July 4th has attracted worldwide attention with reports on the Rally appearing in newspapers and websites as far flung as Canada and Australia.  

Writing in Ontario Paul Kokoski “commended the thousands of Irish pro-life advocates who attended the Rally for Life in Dublin recently,” and reminded readers of a quote by President Ronald Reagan who said that “I’ve noticed that everybody that is for abortion has already been born.”

Local radio stations as far away as Michigan also featured reports on the Rally, while one German station found the numbers of young people attending the Rally remarkable.

Youth Defence officer Rebecca Roughneen said that “feedback from the Rally had been 100% positive” and that the organizers were still processing the huge number of people who had signed up for more information and for future pro-life activities. “It’s great to see that enthusiasm and support for growing the pro-life movement so that we can continue to Keep Ireland Abortion-free.”

Preparations are already underway for next years’ Rally in Belfast.
