PR : Picket on Justice Minister

Youth Defence will be holding a picket outside Maire Geoghegan-Quinn's Constituency office in Eyre Square between 1pm and 2pm on 21st September 1994.
The purpose of this Demonstration is to highlight how the Public Order Act 1994 (which she is responsible for:
- Takes away the civil and constitutional rights of every Irish citizen
- Selectively targets Youth Defence members around the country for harassment and arrest
- Changes our Democratic Republic into a Police State.
It is obvious that the Public Order Act is being used against Youth Defence because Youth Defence is campaigning against abortion, which the present government is trying to legalise.
