PR: Revelation Tour Ends Successfully

02.12.2005

The Revelation Tour began on Monday November 21st and ran until Tuesday of the following week when it concluded with a packed hall and a rapturous reception in University College Cork. It began, incredibly, with adversity, since the administrators of UCD did their utmost to make the evening lecture impossible, despite a whole-hearted welcome from students during that day’s information session.

The Tour itself contained two key activities. Firstly, the Ultrasound members spent the entire day giving information to students, making contact with them and encouraging them to join Ultrasound. In the evening the students came to listen to the impressive and powerful testimonies of the speakers.

During the Tour 80,000 pieces of pro-life information were distributed, all in full colour and using imaginative images and reasoned arguments to bring the truth about abortion to as many students as possible. 5,000 posters had also been used to advertise the testimonies in the evening.  Students were also given a memento of the Tour - a wristband which declared “Life is Precious”.

Ultrasound have already planned several events for the coming year and hope to build on the strength of pro-life feeling brought forward by the extraordinary success of the Revelation Tour.
