COMMUNICATIONS
YD have become expert in pro-life communications. We produce and design a wide range of leaflets, cards, posters, videos, DVDs and other materials. We publish a bi-monthly magazine - Solas - which is distributed widely. Our International Pro-Life Activists Conferences have been acclaimed for their imaginative format and motivational powers.
Members of YD have appeared on all of the major current affairs programmes on TV and Radio. Our speakers are frequently asked to participate in University and College debates and we have regular information stands at third level institutions. We are also invited to give multimedia demonstrations in secondary schools.
MULTIMEDIA
Communication technology has moved at a frightening pace over the last two decades. Similarly how people use them has been a revolution -you only need to look at a facebook page to see the truth of this: instant messaging, video clip insertions, etc. I believe the term is integrated cross platform. Needless to say, if you want to stay ahead of the pack you have to be on top of all this stuff and from the beginning (when video’s were the marvel of the age) YD has tried to keep up to that challenge by offering people pro-life information in traditional print format by way of posters, leaflets and booklets, and more recently in electronic format using video, dvd and the internet.
We maintain 6 pro-life websites including www.truthtv.org which acts as a portal for the pro-life community. We also operate 3 separate ezines which are sent on a weekly basis. On this site YD will offer live video footage of pro-life events. We also have a sites on facebook and youtube.
